1. Quote Validity

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Quotes are based on current product and shipping costs and may be revised if specifications change or if pricing from suppliers is updated. Quotations are not binding until a formal order is placed and a deposit received.

2. Free Measuring & Design Service

Our first visit, including measuring and design advice, is provided free of charge. An additional visit may be required once a formal order is placed to gather fine-tuned measurements. Customers must ensure access is available and windows are clear.

3. Bespoke Product Disclaimer

All shutters supplied are made-to-measure, based on your window specifications. Due to their bespoke nature:

Orders cannot be cancelled or amended once production has begun.
Returns are not accepted unless goods are proven to be faulty.
Wooden shutters are a natural product and may display minor variations in grain, finish, or shade. These are not considered defects.

4. Order Confirmation & Deposit

A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance must be paid in full on the date of installation. We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card, or credit card. Delay in final payment may result in additional charges.

5. Production & Lead Times

Typical lead times range between 6–14 weeks, depending on product range and factory schedules. These are estimates only. Delays caused by shipping, customs, weather, or supplier issues are outside our control and do not entitle the customer to a refund or cancellation.

6. Delivery & Installation

We will contact you to arrange an installation date once your shutters are ready.
The customer or their representative must be present during installation to confirm satisfactory completion, unless agreed-upon in advance.
We cannot be held responsible for:
- Damage reported more than 48 hours after installation.
- Access issues, obstruction of window areas, or rescheduling delays.
If shutters are ready but the customer is unable to accept delivery within 30 days, a storage fee of £30+VAT per week may apply.

7. Fitting Conditions & Limitations

Shutters are not blackout products and minor light gaps are normal.
Mid-rail positions may vary by up to 5% unless ordered as ‘critical’, which would need to be specified on the order form.
Screw caps are supplied in white as standard.
Trim may be used to compensate for uneven window surrounds - this is not a defect.
If installation is requested against our recommendation, liability is transferred to the customer.

8. Tolerances & Material Disclaimer

Wooden shutters may expand or contract slightly due to humidity. This is normal behaviour.
Minor imperfections not visible from 4 feet away under natural light are not considered defects.
Fading due to direct sunlight or high moisture exposure is not covered under warranty unless PVC shutters (e.g. Vienna range) are used.

9. Photography & Marketing

We may take photos of completed installations for quality control or promotional use (e.g. social media, website galleries). If you do not wish your images to be used, please inform us at the time of installation.
