Shutters of Elegance was proud to be a sponsor of the most recent Brocklesby Point-to-Point — one of the longest-running and best-loved fixtures in the Lincolnshire sporting calendar.

About the meeting

Held each season at Brocklesby Park by kind permission of the Earl of Yarborough, the Brocklesby Hunt Point-to-Point is traditionally the country's first fixture of the season. It draws hundreds of riders, owners and racegoers from across the region — from Grimsby and Cleethorpes, up the Humber bank to Brigg and Caistor, and out across the Wolds to Market Rasen and Louth.

For the local farming and equestrian community in particular, it's the unofficial start of the year — a brilliant day of racing, picnics, and catching up after the winter.

Why we got involved

A huge proportion of the homes we measure and fit shutters in across rural North Lincolnshire belong to the same community that turns out for Brocklesby every year. Sponsoring the meeting is our way of putting something back into a fixture that genuinely matters to a big part of our customer base.

It's also a reminder that we're not just a Grimsby business — we work with homeowners in villages and farmsteads right across the Brocklesby Hunt country, including:

• The Wolds villages around Louth and Horncastle
• The Humber bank from Cleethorpes to Barton-upon-Humber
