Open With the Doors, or Independently

French door shutters can be hinged to the frame so they open with the doors, or fitted on a track so the panels fold clear of the whole opening. Either way, you can also just tilt the louvres for light and privacy without opening anything at all.

Close the louvres for privacy in the evening, tilt them to soften bright light through the day, or open the panels wide to enjoy the doors and the view. It's a far more flexible, better-looking solution than curtains or blinds across a set of French doors.
